J & J Kohn Bentwood Chairs

A rare set of 8 J & J Kohn Bentwood chairs in good original condition, with many retaining the maker's stamp/sticker on the rim of the chair. An early competitor to Thonet, these bentwood chairs are a timeless design and in good condition considering they were made prior to 1914. Like all antique chairs, they will take a little maintenance to keep them last another 100 + years - the main thing is not to invite a team of rugby players around for dinner! 
Lovely worn original polish with pressed ply seats added later. Pair these with a marble-topped table and you have a dining room. Sold as set only.
