Antique hand painted windows of this kind are a rare find these days. This arched Victorian stained glass window was salvaged from a grand house in Sydney. The traditional feel of the glass border & hand painted acanthus leaves show that this window was made by skilled artisian in the late Victorian period: however the stylized Waratah and flannel flower reflect more of Federation tone. It is a fascinating and very decorative piece of Australian history from the turn of the century. The timber frame is in good condition.
NB. Please note there are some cracks, though all appear to be stable - sold in as found condition.
