French Hardware

19thC French 'Cremorne handles' alternatively referred to as Espagnolette handles - these items are from Paris and sourced on one of our buying trips from a dealer who traded in architectural elements near Versailles. The brass pieces are ornate and particularly weighty and have a maker's initials stamped on the face.  Items are functioning but incomplete see notes below.

NB. Cremone bolts consist of three parts, two rods, a knob or handle, and cast housing. There is a rod on top, and a rod on the bottom.
